Basic IT fundamental discussion and solutions
For Windows to work properly, it must read and write data from your computer's hard drive continuously. Even when you are not creating documents or saving files to the hard drive, Windows reads and writes temporary data and files to enable multitasking and preserve operations in its cached memory. When Windows encounters a problem trying to read or write data to a hard drive, flash drive or optical disc, you may see an error such as "The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error" or something similar. The error could be the result of a defective or failed disk or drive. However, the error may also be the result of drive connectivity issues or a corrupted Windows driver or registry entry.
Shut down the computer and restart it. If you see an I/O error only once, restarting the machine may fix it without further action. Sometimes, the Windows SWAP file, or temporary cache file, may become corrupted by spyware or poorly written software that writes too much data or reduces the size of the SWAP file temporarily. If this occurs, Windows may report an I/O error stating it cannot read or write data to the "C:" drive. Restarting the computer flushes the temporary cache files and fixes the problem. However, you should run your anti-malware or antivirus software after restarting the computer to avoid software related I/O errors in the future.

The designers of the Pebble watch realized that a mobile phone is more useful if you don’t have to take it out of your pocket.:
Eric Migicovsky didn’t really want a “wearable computer.” When he first conceived of what would become the Pebble smart watch five years ago, as an industrial-design student at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, he just wanted a way to use his smartphone without crashing his bicycle. “I thought of creating a watch that could grab information from my phone,” the 26-year-old Canadian says. “I ended up building a prototype in my dorm room.”

One of our customers was receiving bounce back message stating that “Domain size limit exceeded” while trying to send/receive emails from his domain. This usually happens under below circumstances:
On our smartermail mail server, maximum domain size limit is set to 1024 MB. Users can store up to 1 GB emails for their email accounts on our mail server. It users domain exceeds this limit then he/she will start receiving “Domain size limit exceeded” message while send/receive emails.
I would personally advise to do a practice configuring email accounts in one of the email clients such as outlook express, MS Outlook, Thunderbird etc. It will allow downloading emails from our mail server to users local machine. In email client, you will get two options.
1. Leave a copy of message on mail server. (By selecting this option you can download email to your local machine as well as putting their copies on our mail server.)
2. Remove from server after x number of days. (Using this option you can remove your emails from our mail server after x number of days. For example, if you select 5 days then downloaded emails will be removed from our server after 5 days.)

...Facebook viruses have been around for a while, but lately I’ve seen them cropping up even more frequently. You get a Facebook virus when you click on a link that installs malicious code or if you allow an untrusted application access to your account. The links most people click on claim to tell you who has been looking at your Facebook profile (catch those stalkers and ex-boyfriends in the act!) or allow you to watch a video of something “you won’t believe!” or even a video of you (What were you doing here? That’s crazy!). Facebook viruses are becoming harder to discern.

Most people have gotten past the sentiment that tablets can’t be used for “real work”. The simple reality is that a tablet is capable of doing most of the core functions a traditional PC can perform: email, Web surfing, social networking, instant messaging, and so forth. But, before you rush out to get a tablet to replace your laptop you should be aware that your choice of productivity apps may be dictated by your mobile platform.
It was just a few weeks ago that Firefox got a fresh security boost on the eve of its eighth birthday, but this week Mozilla gave users of its popular browser a better way to protect their privacy as well.
“One of the most often-requested features in the private browsing support for Firefox has been the ability to open a private window without closing the entire session,” wrote Firefox product manager Asa Dotzler in a Tuesday post on the Future of Firefox blog.
